The Singles are integral part on the life of Mt. Zion Filipino Church. This group is the largest and most active group in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ontario. Christian fellowship is not their only purpose, but their participation and support to various programs of the church, as well as their support to members of the church who are in need is very valuable. This ministry is part of the larger NAD organization called ASAM (Adventist Single Adult Ministries). It is not a dating service. Simply put, “This ministry is not about getting hooked up, it’s about getting fixed up – spiritually and emotionally”. ASAM addresses the unique needs of single adults by providing tools for: Divorce Recovery, Single Parenting, Managing Sexual Desires, Dating, Dating Again, Forgiveness, Loneliness, Pre-Engagement and Re-Marital Education. It is our hope to implement this initiatives successfully at MZFC, with a view of the potential to assist single adult’s emotional health and provide help to repair the church family.
If you are never married or single again, you can be a member of this group. It is a spiritual entity in which single adults come together to seek God’s purpose for their lives.
